Unite Group appointed DMWR Architects for RIBA Stage 4 analysis and re-design within the parameters of the granted Planning Consent of two mixed-use student residential buildings in Great Suffolk Street, London.

Comprising of a triangular building of ten storeys with 127 self-contained single occupancy student studio units above 718 sqm of commercial space at ground and mezzanine levels, this sizable development delivered a total of 671 student beds.

The second is an eight-storey building with three split level rooftop pods creating 84 student apartments known as cluster flats. These contain 543 single bedrooms and one self-contained single occupancy studio unit above.  With 1,512 sqm of commercial space at ground and basement levels this is an integrated delivery project.

The basement area provides fifteen disabled parking spaces and 362 cycle spaces, sixty four visitor cycle spaces outside the main building, additional commercial space, storage and plant areas.
