More Info

In October 2001, DMWR were part of the design team that successfully handed over the new extension to the North Terminal International Departures Lounge. Our role in this £32.5m project was the design integrator, responsible for the fit out of the new building and interface with the existing.

DMWR developed the initial concept scheme into a detailed design for D-Day approval and then progressed the design and production information throughout the construction to completion.

Working as part of a close professional team, we had a strong site presence and played a key role in the co-ordination of the design. The project team was both dynamic and progressive and resulted in £2.5m being handed back to BAA and a number of the NT IDL details being adopted as BAA Design Standards.
