We’re proud to share that our team recently came together to support Mustard Tree, Manchester’s largest food bank and a vital charity tackling poverty and homelessness. Collectively, we donated several bags filled with clothing, non-perishable food items, and kitchen appliances to help those in need.
This initiative was a true team effort. Every member contributed—whether by bringing items from home or organising collections among colleagues in the same office building. It’s a reflection of our shared belief that businesses have a responsibility to create positive change, not only within the workplace but also in the communities where we operate.
Mustard Tree provides much more than just food and clothing. They offer furniture and essential household goods to those transitioning out of homelessness, alongside training, volunteering, and employment opportunities that help people facing poverty to build stability and independence. Every day, the charity distributes over 1,200 food items to local community members, delivering enormous social value, particularly at a time when support services are under increasing pressure due to the ongoing cost-of-living challenges. We hope our contribution helps to bolster their vital work.
Supporting charities like Mustard Tree is one way we put our ESG commitments into action. By contributing, we strengthen community resilience, reduce waste through reuse, and help ensure opportunities for those who need them most.
We couldn’t be prouder of our colleagues for coming together and making a real difference. It’s a reminder that small actions, when combined, can have a big impact.
