DMWR Architects were appointed by the developer Compound R E for this highly prominent corner site in High Brooms, Tunbridge Wells to create a 90,000 sqft Self Storage Centre with ancillary office space and associated parkin & unloading yard.

The bold form and design of the proposal was conceived in house with consideration for the surrounding street scene and wider references to the black barns of Kent. The site also features considerable change in height running along North Farm Road and the resulting step down is captured within a considered landscape strategy of cascading planters.

The scheme was granted full planning permission at committee in Summer 2023 and is progressing on site.
