DMWR Architects was appointed by Ballymore Properties Ltd as executive architects and lead consultant on what was Europe’s tallest residential development.
The £220m project comprises of two residential towers of fifty and forty storeys linked at lower levels by a mixed use podium building. The towers house 760 luxury apartments ranging from studios and suites to penthouse dwellings. At lower levels a mix of amenity type uses are provided such as a cinema room, a restaurant, retail units and the Pan Peninsula Health Club and Spa. The latter includes a three lane swimming pool, a plunge pool, saunas and a gym all set within an elegant, simple environment. The scheme also includes a 100-seat Attic Cocktail Bar located on the 48th floor, offering a 360 degree view over London and neighbouring Canary Wharf.
DMWR Architects as executive architects, lead a world renowned consultant team including specialist interior designers KCA and Johnson Naylor. SOM were concept architects for the scheme.
The development changed the composition of residential living in London and set new standards in high-rise design quality.
