DMWR worked closely with Italia Conti, one of the leading Performing Arts institutions in the country, to design the interior of their new headquarters in the heart of Woking Town Centre. As part of the Victoria Square Shopping Centre development, Italia Conti has played a huge role in bringing the shopping centre to life.   

We collaborated with Gardiner and Theobold to provide a full service, taking the project from inception to completion within one year.   

The concept behind the design was one of simplicity with an industrial edge to give the staff and students a clean canvas in which to create and work.  Some drama was added to the design in the reception area, which also doubles as a social space for evenings when there is a performance or an event.  They required studios for ballet, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, acting and singing as well as a small theatre and recording studio.  Offices and admin areas, and breakout spaces for both staff and students were also provided. 

The project was delivered on time and on budget, enabling the space to be used at the start of the academic year.
