We are delighted to announce our planning submission (Ref. No: 20/00650/FULL) to Basildon Borough Council was approved last week for 151 new Build to Rent apartments.

The airspace development sees a three storey rooftop extension to the existing Trafford House to provide a further 122 apartments and two, four storey front infill new build extensions delivering 29 apartments.

Providing much needed new homes for the local area and an early step in revitalising Basildon’s town centre, 25 of the 151 approved homes will be discounted market rent DMR.

The proposals for the BTR scheme seek to will retain the existing structure, minimising carbon emissions during construction, whilst introducing an active street frontage to Cherrydown with the infill extensions and new entrances. An extensive new rooftop garden and play space will offer new and existing residents’ outdoor amenity.
